Widespread Zika virus transmission in the Region of the Americas since 2015 has heightened the urgency of preparing for the possibility of expansion of mosquito-borne transmission of Zika virus during the 2016 mosquito season.1 Acording to the Center for Disease Control, steps to prevent mosquito bites include the following: “Use Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered insect repellents. When used as directed, EPA-registered insect repellents are proven safe and effective, even for pregnant and breast-feeding women.”2 Rainbow Technology offers the following EPA-registered products to repel mosquitoes that may transmit the Zika Virus.

It also REPELS Mosquitoes that may transmit diseases such as Encephalitis, West Nile Virus and the Zika Virus. Both the aerosol and towelette contain extra-strength DEET, formulated especially for utility and telecom personnel to repel mosquitos for 6-8 hours. Prevents unsafe insect distractions.
